Accreditation

We're accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). The A2LA is a non-profit, independent accreditation body for laboratories in various industries. They’ve accredited us under the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)/International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 17025:2017 general requirements, which outline the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

A Quality Standard

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 specifies the requirements for our laboratory’s quality management system, personnel, infrastructure, equipment and calibration, and testing and measurement services. The standard requires us to have a quality management system in place, have trained and competent personnel, use appropriate equipment and facilities, and follow proper procedures and protocols.

According to A2LA, Sensor Calibrations adheres to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard, is committed to providing high-quality testing and calibration services, and is recognized by customers and other key industry stakeholders as reliable and competent.

Added Adherence to National and International Standards

We calibrate your sensors for National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable certification and according to A2LA accreditation for ISO/IEC 17025:2017. This is how we help your sensors achieve the highest possible measurement quality and performance levels. Plus, we adhere to the following standards:

  • ISO 9000 Series of Standards—A set of quality management and assurance systems standards that help us meet customer and other stakeholder needs within product and service statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • American National Standards Institute/National Conference of Standards Laboratories (ANSI/NCSL) Z540-1-1994—Provides requirements for our calibration and testing laboratory to ensure we control our measuring and test equipment to the highest national standards.
  • International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC MRA)—Supports international trade by promoting global confidence and acceptance of being accredited once, accepted everywhere for accredited testing and inspection reports, proficiency testing program provisions, and reference material producers.
  • International Committee of Weights and Measures Mutual Recognition Arrangement (CIPM MRA)—The framework the National Metrology Institutes uses to demonstrate the international equivalence of their measurement standards and the calibration and measurement certificates they issue.
